Q. Are Bath Junkie products all natural?

A. Yes and No. As with any product, please read ingredient labels carefully before use.

Many of our products are all natural. Others are not 100% natural. FDA approved anti-microbial and organically and synthetically derived ingredients, colorants and/or fragrances may be added during manufacturing or custom blending. SLS and parabens have been removed from many of our products. Some products now contain biodegradable ingredients, which are better for both our bodies and our planet. Consumers should read labels carefully and avoid ingredients they are sensitive to or are concerned with. Even natural and essential ingredients must be used with care.

Q. Does Bath Junkie participate in animal testing of its products?

A. No. Bath Junkie, Inc. does not conduct or condone animal testing. Our products are cruelty free.

Q. Do Bath Junkie products contain animal by-products?

A. Bath Junkie products are cruelty free. As with any product, please read ingredient labels carefully before use. A by-product is something produced in the making of something else. An ingredient commonly found in personal care products is Lanolin, a by-product extracted from lamb wool.

Many commonly used home, health, clothing, cosmetic and personal care products found in U.S. households contain or are manufactured with animal or organically derived substances (by-products). Multitudes of information can be found by an "Ingredients Derived from Animals" Internet search using your preferred search engine.

Q. How can I find the recipe for my favorite fragrance blend?

A. Please contact the store where you originally purchased your favorite blend. This store may have your signature blend on file. Many stores create exclusive fragrance blends and assign unique blend names, which might only be identified by that store. Contact information for all stores can be found at our stores page.

Q. Does Bath Junkie offer a brochure or catalog?

At this time, a paper catalog is not available for shopping and purchasing. Our stuff page showcases our base products, which can be customized with your favorite fragrances and colors. Q. When will my favorite Designer fragrance be available?

A. Please visit the Wannabe category of our scents list. If you do not find your favorite Designer fragrance, you may enjoy bringing a sample of your favorite perfume in to our scent station and enjoy mixing up your own match. Your signature blend may smell even better! And your very own Designer blend can be colored to your specification and placed in your choice of size and shape of bottle or rollette. Heck mix up your own Designer blend in our Exfoliating Salt Scrub or Domania Room Spray!

Q. How may I request a donation?

A. Please contact management of the store located nearest your event, through our stores page. Many stores are franchisee owned and operated and have policies in place regarding participation and contribution levels for community and/or charitable events.

Q. How old must you be to be employed by Bath Junkie?

A. Laws governing minimum age restrictions and/or requirements vary from state to state. As with all businesses, our locations nationwide are to follow Federal and State mandated employment opportunity regulations. Q. How may I apply for employment with Bath Junkie?

Q. How can I find the name of my favorite fragrance or fragrance blend?

Stores can assist your search by referring to our Blend Menus, which are a library of blend names and recipes for Featured and New Scents, Holiday and/or Seasonal promotions.

Q. How may I obtain a list of fragrances?

A. Please visit our scents page where you can download our Odor Up Pad (pdf).. This listing may be viewed or printed from our website, or you may contact the store nearest and dearest to you through our stores page to ask for an Odor Up scent sheet to be mailed to your home address.

Changes to our online fragrance list are made quarterly and updated Odor Up scent sheets are available annually.

Q. How may I redeem or fill my Fill’er Up gift bag or Bundle Bag tote?

A. Fill'er Up or Bundle gift bags can only be redeemed at the original, point of purchase store, meaning the gifts may only be filled up at the store where the gift was purchased. The bags are to be sold with an attached card indicating which store the recipient will redeem (fill up the empty containers in) the bag. The card includes the physical address of the store location where the gift bag must be redeemed.

This policy is practiced by all stores. Customers in need of assistance redeeming a gift bag may call our toll free hotline at 888-883-3183 or complete an Assistance Request. Q. When will a franchise store open near me?

A. If your home town and developing business areas are currently without a Bath Junkie store this means at present time our Corporate Office Franchise Development department has not received franchise purchase applications from interested store buyers in this area. As a franchiser, our store locations continue to grow, however new locations slated for franchise store openings are driven solely by franchise buyers, investors and respective consumer bases. Q. May I purchase Gift Cards or Gift Certificates?

A. Yes, Bath Junkie, Inc. plans to make gift cards, which may be scanned and reloaded, available at all store locations by 2009.

Authorized corporate gift cards may be redeemed at any Bath Junkie store, and they never expire! Serial numbered, paper gift certificates will no longer be sold at the conclusion of this fiscal year, however gift certificates in circulation may be redeemed until the assigned expiration date.

Q. How are Gift Certificates redeemed?

A. Serial numbered, corporate gift certificates may be redeemed at any location and are valid until the end of their one year expiration date. Many stores offer multiple party packs at different prices. Q. What type of party and decorations may I bring to Bath Junkie?

A. Parties for all occasions and guests are always a blast! Customers will find just about any ideas can be incorporated to complement their party. Please carefully arrange decorations, food and refreshments for your party in accordance with store policy and Property Management. A. Party packages and options vary from store to store. To ensure guests have the best party experience, we suggest customers pre-plan all of their party arrangements in accordance with their local Bath Junkie store’s policies; contacting store management in person and taking into account:

  • number of party packages to purchase and other applicable fees
  • age and number of guests attending party
  • number of employees staffing the duration of party
  • type and quantity of food and refreshments for party
  • decorations, music and theme of party desired by customer
  • date, beginning and ending time of party in relation to store’s hours of operation
  • clean up and removal of gifts, personal belongings and party decorations

Generally, price points for selling sizes of our custom blended products are similar or the same at most store locations (ie: base lotions, soaps, oils and salt products).

Pricing and assortments of spa accessories, robes, bath towels, candles and novelty items may vary between stores.

Q. May I return a blended product, or have a blended product remade?

A. If our customers are not fully satisfied with their custom blended item; the unused portion should be returned to the original store of purchase to be adjusted in fragrance or color. A remix or replacement of equal value may be provided.

Q. Does your company offer refills in my empty product containers?

A. Refills are strictly prohibited due to quality control issues, cross contamination, potential biohazard and federal and local health code regulations. However, soon you may bring your empty custom blended product containers to participating stores, and we will give you shopping points redeemable for prizes, as well as our promise to recycle all containers that we can.
